EDC, WIMB, essentials, whatever you call the stuff you carry everyday is the topic of our latest blog series. We ask productive people to empty their bags and share their everyday carry with us to find out what helps them make stuff happen and what they can't live without.

Adapt to the environment.
Today here in beautiful Sydney I have my work laptop, a trusty Moleskine, my phone that's synced to work and personal emails, and a book. The bag is BOSS Orange. Unless I'm in an unfamiliar town, which I'm not, I'll have a book or newspaper on me for quieter moments, otherwise I'm all about exploring with a smallish camera in hand or at least my iPhone. I sometimes forget where I am or find three months later I can't recall what I've seen where, so I tend to whip out a phone or camera whenever possible, including the workplace.
Keys, wallet, sunnies, iPhone and a Moleskine for all work and personal matters. I actually can't keep a uniform bag - my days and weeks vary dramatically. Weekends particularly, I'm often hands-free and bag-free, but I'd like to carry a decent camera at all times.
Adapt to the environment. Last week I was in Hong Kong and on this trip, surprisingly, I had a lot of time on my hands to sightsee, sample street food and shop. It's quite hilly in parts, so I had a reasonably small camera on me – an [Olympus] OMD – a Moleskine, and phone. That was more than enough carry for all the walking I did and all out of office work was done on phone and email. So, know your priorities, what's possible to do where you're going and carry accordingly.
