Studying with a partner or a group is not for everyone as some study better alone, have demanding commitments, or maybe a subject does not lend itself to group discussion. If you're wary for one reason or another, most study groups would readily welcome a new member and agree to a trial session to be certain it's the right dynamic for your personality and theirs.
