45-minute timer video

Monday 25 October 2021

We've just posted another timer video on YouTube for those who prefer, or need, the extra motivation a video in parallel brings. This timer goes for 45 minutes, again with a count-in and finish sound to let you know when time's up. There are no breaks, so best used for lengthy sessions, such as report or essay writing, creative time, a workout or a thorough room clean.

Don't forget, our web-based timer, Tisk, which is used in these videos, also plays a sound at the end of each timer, so remember to unmute before playing. Also, if you've used the synthwave theme, you might have noticed it has its own finish sound to suit its synthwave/80s theme.

Relaxing storm video

Thursday 7 October 2021

At the end of September we heard a decent storm was headed our way, so we managed to set-up in time. It's a 55-minute video of the rain coming in, the lightning, thunder and city noise. If you haven't had a cozy storm for a while or are in need of white noise while you work, study or sleep, this might be the subtle background storm you were waiting for.

Check it out on on YouTube. Warning: thunder is sometimes sudden in second half when the rain eases.
