Pomodoro 25/5 study timer

Monday 6 September 2021

We have a new YouTube video up to help with studying using the Pomodoro Technique. The first Pomodoro video is 25/5 and only has a count-in sound and interval finishing sound to alert you.

If you aren't familiar with the Pomodoro Technique, we covered it a while back in a time management article. The first 25 minutes are used to focus on a task and the immediate 5 minutes that follow are used as a break. Although 25 minutes is a relatively short period of time, it's long enough to concentrate on a single task or a chunk of a large task. The use of a timer is to keep you on track to finishing each interval. At the end of the break, just hit repeat for another 25/5 round, until you get to three or four sets, then take a longer break, around 20-30 minutes, or more if you need it.

We'll be putting out more of these in the coming weeks with different themes. Be sure to subscribe to our channel for more productivity tips, behind the scenes vlogs, relaxing drives, timelapses and more.
